Afrinex, a pan-African international exchange, was launched, on 25 October 2021, by the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth. The pan-African securities exchange is set to represent the attractiveness of Mauritius as a leading international Financial centre of substance.Two years after the launching ,ie the 21st August, AFRINEX EXCHANGE marked the launch of AFEXtree, a capital-raising platform, with listing of bonds worth USD 2bn in the presence of PM Pravind Jugnauth, High Commissioner Mrs. K. Nandini Singla and other dignitaries.
